I had the pleasure of hiring Kelsey Donlan (Richardson) as my day of coordinator for my wedding on August 19, 2017. I hired her once I spoke with her and learned of her many years of experience and was comforted by how friendly and professional she was on our first phone call. Throughout the 10 months of my engagement, Kelsey was very easy to get a hold of and set times for us to meet to ensure that our wedding day would run smoothly. When we had our first meeting I quickly felt distressed from planning a wedding due to how organized and knowledgeable she was. She helped bring things up that I had not thought about before and never once brought in her opinions of what our wedding should be like other than just catering to what we had hoped for our big day. Kelsey traveled from afar to check out the venue beforehand and to attend the rehearsal. Once the big day came she was incredibly helpful in putting things together before the wedding and being a main source of communication amongst family and other helpers. We had a DIY heavy wedding which can cause some more stress on the day of and Kelsey handled everything proficiently and smoothly. During the wedding I could just look at her and she would come over and answer any question that I had or help in any way that came to my mind in that moment. She had things like Advil and sewing things that I needed last minute and provided them instantly for me. I highly recommend Kelsey as a day of coordinator for any wedding. She is helpful, friendly, organized, understanding, professional, and knowledgeable on how to assist in wedding day events.
